Therese Tano

Head of Project Services & Delivery

Career background: I’ve been in recruitment since 2018 and from day one I’ve loved the chaos, the challenge and most of all, the people. I work across the Project Services space, helping connect talent in Project, Product, Delivery and Change with the right opportunities (and the right people on the other side of the table).

Something that’s always been super important to me is keeping it real. I’m big on honest conversations, no fluff, no ghosting, no “just checking in” emails with no purpose. Whether you’re a client or candidate, I believe in sticking around for the full journey, not just until a role is filled. I’m proud to say I still keep in touch with many of the people I met when I first started out in recruitment, which is probably the biggest compliment I could ask for in this industry.

I love building trust and genuine relationships. I try to break the mould of your typical “sales-y” recruiter and hopefully if we’ve worked together, you’ve felt that.

What I’m passionate about: Not trying to be cute or anything, but family is everything to me. My little sister is my best friend, always has been. Honestly, I didn’t even need friends growing up because she was always there. Now we’re forming a full-on girl besties gang with my 18 month-old niece, who is 100% the boss of us both.

I’m also obsessed with photography and creating cinematic videos, currently deep into Fujifilm gear (don’t even get me started unless you want a full breakdown of my current kit). There’s something about capturing the world creatively that just fuels me.

What you can call me for: If you’re in the Project, Product, Delivery and Change remit, I can be of service.

Two fun facts about me:
1. My husband, my sister and my brother-in-law all decided we wanted to live closer… and we really committed. We bought blocks of land just a street apart (literally a one-minute walk), built our homes and now we’re neighbours. We love it.
2. I’ve probably gone skiing 15–20 times across Japan, New Zealand, South Korea and Australia of course… and I still can’t ski properly. But that doesn’t stop me from buying new ski gear every season. All the gear, still no idea. Haha
