Career background: In 2025 I’m launching the Melbourne office for PSG and couldn’t be more excited.
It’s a long way from when I started my recruitment career with impeccably bad timing at the back end of 2008 - just after the Lehman Shock.
So no matter the changing recruitment landscape over the intervening years, everything else has always looked fairly rosy in comparison.

Then after 13 years in Tokyo and building out some amazing record-breaking technology recruitment teams, I returned to Australia in 2021 to do the same.

Since then I’ve been combining deep market knowledge with a passion for unearthing top talent. I’m committed to guiding both mid-career and exec-level professionals towards fulfilling career opportunities while supporting businesses in achieving their strategic goals.

What I’m passionate about: I’m passionate about giving back where I can. Whether that comes in the form of time, money, knowledge or plasma (you read that right - 824ml of the yellow stuff every second Saturday without fail), there are always people in more need of things I would like to keep but can probably make do without.

My approach is long-term and relationship-driven, ensuring that I build trust with both clients and candidates, enabling long-lasting, successful partnerships.
For me, it’s not just about the here and now. Since 2008 I have rarely been able to ‘do business’ with a person or an organisation after one conversation or one meeting.
Needs are not always pressing.
So it’s more important to build strong foundations and a strong understanding as that will ensure that in the longer run I can ‘partner’ successfully rather than ‘transact’.
As the Melbourne office grows from strength to strength, I’m confident the team I’m assembling here will be able to help in your career change or your hiring for many years to come.

Two fun facts about me:
1. I left my home in Melbourne in 2001 for a 6 month working holiday… I returned 20 years later with a wife and 2 young girls in tow
2. In my much younger days I once rented a motorbike in a Cambodian beach town and ran over a Cambodian policeman (accidentally of course)
