Career background: I started off recruiting in sunny Manchester, placing contractor software developers in the Benelux region, then moving over to the UK working both contract and permanent Software engineers.

Following the sun I relocated to Australia in 2022 continuing to work in the space that excites me the most…Tech!! Working in a smaller more boutique style businesses I feel has allowed to connect better with candidates and clients in a relationship driven industry!

What I’m passionate about: Besides tech of course!! I’m massively into my fitness! Currently training for my first Hyrox here in Melbourne! I‘m also learning how to surf and there’s a good chance you’ll find me in a wine bar come Friday afternoon!! However, above all else, my biggest passion is caring for my 3 year old border Collie Oakley!!

What you can call me for: I work with software developers of all experience level‘s, predominantly around modern JavaScript technologies but I also work with UXUI Designers as well as more legacy and niche skillsets such as PHP and no-code. With clients I’m not industry specific but have found myself in recent years working with more SME’s Scale-ups and Start-ups.

Two fun facts about me:
1. Much like Harry potter - I too was shipped off to a boarding school at the age of 8yrs old! (Beats the cupboard under the stairs)
2. I have driven the width of Australia across the Nullarbor in a home converted van...12 days of, well, nothing. I recommend it though!!
